New Lab!

I am so glad to finally announce that I have officially found the lab of my dreams! I have successfully changed over to all Canadian services, which I might I add was not an easy task. We have now changed to a Toronto based lab, and have been blown away with the results and timely service. I see my turn around times decreasing as result of this :D Thank you all that have stuck through the long process of finding this lab, and putting up with the old one! lol

Back to the Studio :D

I was finally allowed back into the studio it was a long month waiting out the rain clouds, to get all of the family portraits done. But it was deffinitly more than worth it. I still have a few more outside sessions coming in but I think I will be spending a lot more time inside for a while :D

Here is one from my more resent session in studio. With my new camera! I am in LOVE!

I am so glad I finally got to upgrade my camera, it feels so different now... and heavy!! lol I am willing to live with the pain, to be the owner of such a wonderful piece of equipment.

Busy Busy

It has been proving to be a busy time of year, and I am loving it.
Tomorrow I am looking forward to a maternity shoot in the morning and a newborn shoot in the afternoon. The extra exciting part is that I just got in a few newborn props AND I will finally get to use the football cocoon that was given to me :D

FALL Already!?

Can you believe it? Fall is officially THIS MONTH! I am blown away how quickly it has come!

Well–I am in the new studio, and it’s Halloween time, and you have a cute love bug dressed as a pirate, a witch, a monkey or whatever they may be… bring them down to the studio October 23rd between 12pm-4pm for a quick mini-shoot! Sessions will be indoors with a harvest theme setting and will be about 15 minutes in length. The fee is $30 for up to 3 children. Past 3, the fee is $10 per child. You will receive an online viewing of the pictures, and a special 10% off print rate. And ONE unit free!

Cutest Baby Contest

Well the results are in!

Little Miss Iris has won!, followed by Little Man Jackson!!

So many cute babies to choose from. It was such a success, I couldn't have asked for any thing more!! A great big THANK YOU to everyone who participated.

Behind

It seems I'm always behind.
We recently had to make a trip down to Toronto for my son to see a specialist. For the week prior to the trip I prepared. Trying to get everything done before our departure.... and of course no there really was no hope of this actually happening. Upon our return it seemed as thought the tasks had only multiplied while gone for one night. Alright enough with excuses, Last week I recieved my order from JuJuBee's & Co 5 tiny headbands. Attached is our little angel in the 3-6 month sizes we recieved. Now just waiting on some newborns :D

I can't wait to get some more of these great props.... be on the look out for some cute boy props I have been checking out :D

Bi-weekly Posting

SO maybe I will have to make the biweekly commitment. 
The last few days have been BUSY! Between family and photo shoots, meetings and appointments, I barely get in any me time. Which I suppose I will have time for when I'm old ;)

Starting next week is out 1st Cutest Baby Contest. Keep posted in September when I pictures are released for judging.  We have at least 25 contestants signed up. I'm looking forward to meeting all these little ones in the coming month.

Don't forget about out Family Portrait Sale. Which we'll be booking for September all August (pre-paid bookings).

Priorities....

I will get there with posting, make it part of my todo list maybe :)
With 2 kids in the house and a husband...That todo list can get pretty long!

I've had a busy couple weeks, feels like things are finally getting to where I have been wanting them to be. It feels great :)

This is what I have been up to in the photography world.

I recently had the return of 4 babies for follow up sessions in their babies first year program. We had some outdoor fun with some little girls, a rather serious little man who is soon to be 3, a dress up session with my niece and daughter, and MORE.... Its been a great week and a half!

From now on I'll try to post as I shoot... or something that will work better than this ;)

Testing, Testing.... 1st Post

So I think that I'm finally going to make a go at this blogging stuff. I'm not intersting enough on my own but with the increased business, I thought I could expand on my business but making a few photographic outlets. Here's to new adventures!
